The Modern horse and rider have descended directly from Bedouins, Knights, light-horse brigades, circus performers, cowboys, Lady Godiva, Napoleon, Queen Boadicea, Pegasus and Ballerophon, Alexander and Bucephalus, Zorro and Tornado, The Lone Ranger and Silver, and all other historical and fictional dreams of the mighty four-legged beauties and the humans who partnered with them.
